The description.
WatchLyst is an iPhone app that learns your film taste from quick swipes and builds your canon in minutes instead of years of logging. One card at a time, you react with one of five gestures: Loved, Liked, Seen, Disliked, or Not Seen. Face-Offs between two films you've seen sharpen the picture. The result is three lists: BackLyst, films picked for your taste; MyLyst, everything you've seen in your own tiers; and NextLyst, what's next. No stars, no reviews, no crowd averages. WatchLyst is made by Jomala LLC in Minnesota and is in testing ahead of its beta.

Joshua Lasater is the founder of Jomala LLC and the maker of WatchLyst. He built the app around one outcome: a personal film canon that takes minutes to start and never asks for a rating. He is based in Minnesota.
